Like the illusion of Wall Street, with its vast and powerful investment banks, now shuttered, China too is an illusion perpetuated by the Globalists that gave us the 15,000 mile Caesar salad, poisoned cat food and lead based paint on babies' pacifiers. Like the illusion that money would come from thin air to always push housing prices higher, China has spent a generation pursuing its illusion. Pursuing an unattainable dream to be like the West, while 6000 years of its carefully shepherded top soil blows into the sea.

I'm 100% certain it already is, and not just by our own gov't. Too easy to do and too potentially rewarding not to.

That would be a good idea. I swear some people here sound like they are just killing time before they strap on a bandolier and storm the white house lawn.

I am not worried about a police state, you need money to run one LA has one of the lowest ratios of Cops to people in the country. The State of California has no money and is going into debt fast.

They are going to be lucky to keep a lid on things.

The more likely scenario is worsening of what is already going on, there are areas in the City where if you call 911 no one is coming. Basically the cops will pull back as there money is taken away and the street gangs will get more control.

There is always this approach:

I don't think resistance is a good idea.

The solution to your problems is to build up wealth, knowledge, technology/techniques/trade secrets, libraries of information, seed and lifestock library, education and a strong community, and find a good country to immigrate to.

Then, once you immigrate and get your foot in the door, start bringing your friends and family, your community with you.

As time goes on eventually you'll all end up there.

Safe and protected(or more protected than you were in the U.S if you play your cards right).

Then you can live there peacefully and not have to worry about a megolomaniac trying to take all your freedoms.

Just build up, get everything you need together, and go somewhere else.

Besides, the U.S will be controlled by Mexicans soon enough. With 100 million Mexicans in Mexico, with nothing to eat thanks to Peak Oil ramifications and global warming, will come storming up across the Rio Grande, many of them armed.

If you say "sorry, I've gotta keep this farm land available for my relatives" They'll just kill you and take your land, and that will be that.

The U.S military barred by modern rules of engagement, and an upper class that wants the Mexicans here will ensure that no real resistance occurs, and that this country will be controlled by those at the top in a form of permanent aristocracy.

So build up, acquire what you need, get out while you can.

In 10-17 years I plan on immigrating, all depending on how fast(or slow) things go. I've found the perfect country for myself and other's like me.

However, I'm not going to post it here, due to the fact I don't want everyone else going there, otherwise it wouldn't be the perfect place anymore.

But basically, don't try to change a system as big as the United States. You won't win. Your family will be disgraced and blacklisted as "traitors". Under worst case scenarios your family might be "suspected of terrorism".

The greatest extent of trying you should do is vote, and hope that your vote has some miniscule positive impact.

Kylon's post may qualify as "Dunce of the Day" material.

good grief: "move your community to a new country"..."mexicans will take over"...

Times are going to get hard in America; that's now a given. Stay in your community, form strong bonds, contribute to the common good, and put on your game face.

The time for mitigation has passed. Enjoy the ride.

The mass imigration of Mexicans is just one of the theories on what the fema camps are for. If we go into a depression there won't be so much work to attract them in the first place. All the unprepared sheeple should start learning spanish, and get used to long train rides.

When we are all disarmed, you will have your police state.

If we won't shoot our guns after receiving so many sufficient provocations, then how is that different from our not having them? There's a famous test of whether you're a man or a coward. Draw a line and say, if this happens, then I am at war with (whoever) and will kill him if I can. If it happens and you do nothing, then you never will do anything, whether you are armed or not. Likewise if you refuse to draw any lines.

Of course, attacking a very powerful enemy is suicide. But your aim would not be to survive, but to inflict an attrition on them. If you can remove more than one of them before they get you, you've done well.

There is an argument for waiting for events to play out. Eventually, they will be running low on fuel, too. Strategic petrol reserves will sooner or later dry up. A few wars might be all it takes. One day they, dependent on high technology that no longer works, unskilled in low technology ways, will be weaker than we are.

Then, we jump them and wipe their rotten hominid strain off the face of the Earth.

I know you all think what I'm saying about the Mexicans is retarded, but think about it.

What will all the poor people do when they have no food, little water, no petrol, and no money to buy anything?

In small enough numbers they'll either become homeless, or go to prison. In large enough numbers they'll cause mass societal break down causing anarchy.

When there are sufficient numbers of police men they can administer peace without police brutality. Stretched to the max they can administer peace with police brutality. Stretched to the breaking point and it's gang rule.

What you get then is a bunch of angry mobs running around, consuming everything and anything like locust. Whoever gets the mobs the most food/water/energy/ect... will be the leader of the mob. This will translate into the most ruthless people being put in charge. Combine this with a "follow the leader" type mentality among the members of these mobs and it translates into a very nasty small army of thugs. This is what many doomers call the "Zombie Hoards".

What I'm saying about the Mexicans coming isn't just Latinos, it's all the unprepared poor people who won't know what to do when TSHTF and who will turn to miniature Hitler wannabes. It's just the majority of Mexicans tend to be poor, and with less wealth in Mexico because of the oil drying up, and no food because of global warming destroying all their crops, they are going to search for greener pastures.

Then combine this with the fact that the elites of this country, the upper upper class want workers to be forced to compete with other workers as much as possible to drive down wages, and you end up with little resistance to Mexicans coming in.

At worst you'll end up with anarchy. At best, at this point(what can be expected of the gov) will be a semi-fascist pluralistic government that somehow incorporates all minorities(thus avoiding an all out race war) but is more than happy to kill anyone who causes problems, thus keeping order in the face of ever growing scarcity and shortages.

Both the worst and the best case scenario are horrible.

There's an old saying "War cannot be avoided. It can only be delayed, to the benefit of others." By delaying, you are straining your own resources a lot more than they are straining theirs. If you wait for "a few wars later", you may find yourself with a bankrupt (though highly skilled) band of ex-soldiers at the gates to your compound. They may not have the infinite resources of the federal government by that point, but you can be certain that they will have more experience, equipment and manpower than you as an individual have.
