Here's a little Peak Oil community exercise, something to help us all make that connection that reaches a little beyond the flat screen.
Show us where you're at.
1. Log onto Tagzania
2. Drop a balloon on your hometown
3. Tag with "peakoiler".
Later we can all visit the this map and see who's out there.
Come on now. Where u at?

Here's where I live (really):
The picture was taken in November 2006. (Really.) I was sitting in a lawnchair lifted by a bunch of helium balloons. (Not really.)
Wish it was taken in springtime when everything is greener...

Edited to add "really"s.
I hope the next pic shows a 1-kW solar array on that metal roof, a greenhouse, and one less dead cedar tree...

we used to have one of those maps accessed from the menu.
I imagine it became too cluttered to be useful.
I'm in north Florida.
