It sounds like a serious incident, but I don't see reporting on it elsewhere.
Did anyone experience it?
Curiously there was a power outage in my district of Shenzhen, China, at almost exactly the same time. Spooky  |

| well i was in london and i didnt notice it on another note peak oil is all over the news and the 'oil crises' made me realise things were serious when on main stream news they said we are in the worlds third oil shock. |

Nothing special, judging by the coverage a couple of independent failures and knock-on effects. Only 30-40 minutes to restore power apparently. Multiplying a bunch of very low probabilities does not mean never. _________________ Volatility. When life isn't exciting enough. |
