I think the Canadians are probably too scared.
If they weren't too scared they would have posted to this thread.
They're just scared.

Re Scared Canadians
Yep- could well be. I am much more comfortable with my world if it is denial than in panic mode. I am even reluctant to post here. There are too many radical voices associated with this site. (and ALOT of articulate well meaning experience here too)
I am no enemy of the powers that be, I am busy dancing to my own tune, making my own preps.
Noone wants their face on the news as a fringe paranoid. It is doubtful that any media could give you a fair interview and not panic the herd. So, its a loose, loose situation. Better to stay quiet. |

I don't really think of myself as a prepper, that's all. And being Canadian, and not brash, custom wouldn't allow me to respond otherwise.
Definitely not chicken!
I could easily prostitute myself to the media (just look at my avatar!)
Am I a prepper?
(you tell me)
House paid for.
Half an acre of land to grow stuff on (but I don't).
Mad skills, wife too.
Made money playing commodities.
Reinvented an already patented version of the stirling.
Still drive a car.
Still use NG.
Still connected to the grid.
Have a job that uses about $3,000 dollars of diesel a month.
