To laugh. Are you kidding? I've had stress that would have killed a rogue elephant and lived through it. I'm sure I'm not alone on this thread. Peak oil, and everything else will be a walk in the park, comparatively speaking.

once i had enough stress that i started getting teeth cavities, even though i was flossing, brushing, eating healthy but not healthy enough. ended up with 10 cavities, which became 13 by the time all was said & done. i could feel the little metal pointy thing catching in each one of them (though i think the dentist was a little money hungry, not all of them needed to be filled.)

a GP doctor told me that stress can turn your saliva acidic (a similar thing happens when people use meth).

besides all the aforementioned (can't wait till we see articles in the MSM that quote this thread, "energy survivalists at PeakOil.com recommend masturbation as a technique for dealing with rising fuel prices"), i would add, take a class in something, so as to have something to focus your mind on while the storm seas wash around you.

in my case, it's visual effects software. ILM doesn't have a lot of job openings for vision impaired animators, but, that's almost a separate subject. it's just good to have something complex to focus your mind on, that you can step away from when your mind feels like a goose that's being force-fed information.

Actually the key to stress relief is in that picture right there.

It is love. Wome loves the child and stands close guard to the child.
And man loves both and stands guard over both.

Love is the cure for stress. Love can make you smile and love can make you cry. Both relieve stress.

It brings great insight.

I go for walks in the woods to relieve my stress. I need time without a lot of other humans every day. It helps a lot.

I bring my dog, and she's usually good at relieving stress.

Correct, a good orgasm is a stress reliever, so is a good intake of beer.

Good ideas, all. But I find more and more that I am living inside a nightmare in which I am on a plane going into the twin towers and there is nothing I can do about it and no one around me realizes where we are heading or just how very quickly we will arive.

Writing itself can heal, and can help you see more clearly what is rumbling around in your head. Writing on a forum where others have some clue what is going down can also be strangely comforting, even while it reminds you of the impending disaster unfolding around you. Thanks to all.

Peace, shalom, shanti

Lord Greenworm, You're turning into quite the little love bug. What on earth has happened to you? Didn't you used to be a bit on the cranky side?

After reading a number of responses I have to reiterate the diet, supplement and lifestyle changes I outlined. The difference is nothing short of huge.

Sex is not Love. Love can be expressed with Sex, but Sex can also be expressed with no Love. In this sick culture, Love really means Sex... with no actual Love.

Incorrect!

Sex comes first, love second, in modern society this is reversed of course.
