For a minute there I thought I had to get off my couch, when all the while the fact is we don't have to do anything much but keep things afloat for just a few decades more! In fact, we'd best shut up about PO, because if our offspring finds out we knew about it all along, they'll turn and wring our necks come 2036!

Laughing Laughing Nice Frank!

How pathetic that is, really. I also thought the same thing about "money" and "cable". Sad.

Rogozhin, I love your avatar!

Nice to see kids getting outside instead of watching the idiot box! On a side note, have you noticed that the more channels you get the less there is to watch? When i was a kid I only had the 4 main UK channels(and i had to sit there holding the ariel to get channel 4) and always found something to watch. But now we have digital theres never anything worth watching on, and don't get me started on sky.

at least they're getting practice standing on the corner trying to draw attention to themselves. They should be about the right age to work for their food when things get really hard

Why do I think they won't do that? (work) .... they will protest or do something similar.

Basic non-digital without the cable box is about $50/month before taxes where I live. That gets you channels 2-95, but there's nothing on channels 67-94 and several of the other ones as well.

Can you imagine what would happen if people would stop listening to the tube, and start reading real information on the web?
