Like the illusion of Wall Street, with its vast and powerful investment banks, now shuttered, China too is an illusion perpetuated by the Globalists that gave us the 15,000 mile Caesar salad, poisoned cat food and lead based paint on babies' pacifiers. Like the illusion that money would come from thin air to always push housing prices higher, China has spent a generation pursuing its illusion. Pursuing an unattainable dream to be like the West, while 6000 years of its carefully shepherded top soil blows into the sea.

Have they SEEN Los Angeles? If that city was designed by some kind of urban planning board, I'm the queen of England.
Yeah, I see it all the time. Considering what it's up against, what it has to deal with on a daily basis, the kind of crap that goes on there, and who lives there, it functions remarkably well.

I just read the CIBC report that says we're going to have 10 million less cars on the roads in 4 years. A lot of people are going to learn how to take the bus again in America.
$200 a barrel means $7 gas. The average household in the UK has only one car, and they take mass transit a lot more.
We're going to look a lot more like Europe very soon if this report is right.

But with oil closing above $140 a barrel Friday, more experts are taking those predictions seriously -- and shuddering at the inflation-fueled chaos that $200-a-barrel crude could bring. They foresee fundamental shifts in the way we work, where we live and how we spend our free time.
They don't get it. People still think that the only use for oil is filling up at the gas station.

The lemmings run run run. Every now and then, one pops it's head up, but way to scary. Keep your head down and run run run, right over the cliff. Stick with the group, it will be alright.
