That proves it.
The Cuban socialists have managed to transform Cuba from the wealthiest nation in Latin America to one of the very poorest in only 50 years, but they still have to reduce their per capita GDP by almost 60% to attain the highly developed level of socialism already reached by their North Korean comrades. |
Cuba is just like what is taking place in Venezuela now, if you were in the rich side of the equation you have to feel really unhappy. On the other one, if you were in the poor side you have to feel currently blessed. |

żBlessed?
Even the poors of my country have the desire, the drive, the dream, the HOPE to upgrade their quality of life through personal improvements and hard work.
I gather those who risk their life by crossing the pond up west too.
Only those useless, unhappy, rescented bastards, MAY feel "blessed" under that sort of totalitarian, poverty generating, dictatorial regimes. |

Lets get this straight, you can have everything and be unhappy. _________________ "Oil is going up because we use too much oil, and the capacity to replace reserves is dwindling"

How do you plan to improve it ?
My view is that we will have to copy them, or end up like Haiti, so they are in perfect shape for a world with no oil. |

For those of you who like to throw around satistics all the time, maybe you should read, Confessions of an Economic Hit Man.
It was his job to lie for the industrial corporations (big gov't). Everyone is going to have to live simple soon enough. If you start now the change won't be as hard and you will be somewhat prepared. It will be a very bumpy ride from here on out. |

And that moratorium from the painfull process of thinking goes for you too, Monte. Unless you think you and your upbringing and social conditioning is totally outside of this mess, purely objectively standing aside and looking like a deer in the headlights.
Grow up, man! I'ts so farking kewl to be the horn of doom, looking down on everybody else "whose not done his homework", feeling so ever lonely in the highty mighty tower of Doom.
Seriously, who the fark are you to judge? To speak in name of Nature? Who appointed You as His/Her teacher? Science? Fark science, that's what got us here.
So, Monte, shut up or start to deliver. You ain't nothing but so stop thinking you are. |

If we look objective at the story of evolution - really objectively and without the myth of survival - then the story of evolution - by shere numerical evidence - is not a story of survaval but a story of "hard fact" of failure.
Science knows nothing of experience. That most basic word is not in the scientific vocabulary. Greek for experience is empiricism. The problem is not experience but the scientifically limited concept of, which excludes reality. The reality that everything that is empirically experienced is reality. Mine, his, hers, theirs, non-personally. Experience does not presuppose person and personal experience. |

Something else. Isn't that obvious and why do you ask? |
