| In the movie, the Berlin wall falls and socialism collapses while the protagonist's older mother (who always "believed" in the system) was in a coma. When she awoke her son went to elaborate efforts to maintain the fiction that she still lived under the system in which she had invested her spirtual energy her whole life, so as not to alarm her in her frail condition. Sound familiar? |

I think I saw a remake of that on CNBC today.
BTW, I've seen it. Great movie. |

Not that it makes much difference PO-Wise but I wonder if it still existed, people would start clamouring to get into the GDR like the fake news reports made out  |
