Like the illusion of Wall Street, with its vast and powerful investment banks, now shuttered, China too is an illusion perpetuated by the Globalists that gave us the 15,000 mile Caesar salad, poisoned cat food and lead based paint on babies' pacifiers. Like the illusion that money would come from thin air to always push housing prices higher, China has spent a generation pursuing its illusion. Pursuing an unattainable dream to be like the West, while 6000 years of its carefully shepherded top soil blows into the sea.

A stream runs partially within my property line and is always flowing. However, it’s catchment area is mostly a golf course and is likely full of fertilizer and weed killer runoff. When TSHTF, I doubt there will be many golfers, or people interested in maintaining golf courses, so I would expect the pollution levels to drop. Otherwise, it’s filtered, boiled and stored rainwater, which we have in abundance. I have a metal roof, which permits clean water runoff and limits algae growth. I just need to hook up a bunch of barrels to the downcomers. Of course, when TSHTF, I might not even be here, so who knows?

You can make a solar distiller with a sheet of plastic or plexiglas too. It will make enough water to drink which is all you need clean water for. I mean really clean.

How do you do that? _________________ It's not a bailout, it's a buy-in" - Nancy Pelosi

USe the same principle you would use for getting water in the desert but use water instead of leaves and cactus. You need funnlel shaped depression with plastic over it, a can under the plasting in the center and a pebble in the top of the plastic to make it funnel downwar. Put polluted water in the depression and it will evaporate, gather on the plastic, run down the funnel shape and drip off the ip of the plastic into your can. Chemicals remain in the other water containers aroudn the perimeter..

Me too. I'm wondering if anyone has used a distiller. I saw a nice one on Lehman's website.
I've been using a solar water distiller since 2002 for nearly 100% of my drinking water. It has been in operation every day (with just a few exceptions) since then. See Solaqua.com _________________ About my avatar: Guess.
A fraction of the cost of a Big Berkey, and some would say gets better performance to boot. Plus you can throw it in your BOB and jet. _________________ Collapse-prep Intentional Community forming outside of Austin, TX. PM me if interested.
