Like the illusion of Wall Street, with its vast and powerful investment banks, now shuttered, China too is an illusion perpetuated by the Globalists that gave us the 15,000 mile Caesar salad, poisoned cat food and lead based paint on babies' pacifiers. Like the illusion that money would come from thin air to always push housing prices higher, China has spent a generation pursuing its illusion. Pursuing an unattainable dream to be like the West, while 6000 years of its carefully shepherded top soil blows into the sea.

Cashmere-kumbaya (I'd even give you a big hug-but if that is you on your avatar you really ought to put more clothes on first-lol)..I said from my personal religious beliefs that I support the concept that Israel should be able to exist as a country. I don't think that it a horrible thing to say that Israel has the right to exist as an independent country. No where did I say that I support everything the Israel political machine is doing (nor do I support everything the American political machine is doing either). I do pray for the peace of Jerusalem (and the whole middle east)-but I am not sure that they will withhold a strike on Iran just because we don't want them too because of the bad economic situation.

What gives?

Somebody give me something here. I'm really at a loss to see how this is not front page news.

Iran goes from Angel of Death to "let's send our people there and work things out" faster than you can choke on a pretzel and Drudge hasn't even picked it up?

What's going on?

a correction, a rebound, or whatever, happens when there is nothing left to hunt on this side of the fence, because all animals have been driven to the other side.

How do you start a war without the enemy treachorously taking your "diplomatic envoy" hostage?

The people going to Iran are definitely drawing the short straw.

I am just getting sick of every news tidbit firing off a round of idle speculation. Remember the fateful "cable cut" and the Iranian oil bourse? That was sure to be the final sign! What about the close call with the Iranian speedboats? That was it! Ha! If and when it does happen, having "called it" will be pretty meaningless considering all of the miserable past predictions.

You got to be kidding.
For example the cable cuts happened just before the opening of the IOB (and as you may have noticed they only opened with a whimper rather than fullblown business) and Iran was seriously affected. Infact a lot of countries in the area, except Israel, was affected.
If you think that these type of coincidences, what their casues or reasons may be and potential outcome, can be can't be discussed in a discussion forum, perhaps you can enlighten us what you think a discussion forum should be used for. Just to regurtitate news from "approved" sources? Grow up or stick to reading just the news articles on the fron page.
Anyone else who thinks we shouldn't use the forum to discuss matters, test opinions, ideas and theories or give and get constructive feedback?

I don't know.

Some part of me - the irrational part - hopes that the people with their hands on the button understand the consequences of such an act.

This could be the trigger to WWIII, via global proxy wars.

Oh, it probably happened whenever you had your head in the sand, or stuck up your ass, or wherever it is you put it so you don't have to hear disquieting, unnerving views from the rest of us. The echo in there when you hum real loud not to hear what you don't want to must be quite lovely. Laughing
