Like the illusion of Wall Street, with its vast and powerful investment banks, now shuttered, China too is an illusion perpetuated by the Globalists that gave us the 15,000 mile Caesar salad, poisoned cat food and lead based paint on babies' pacifiers. Like the illusion that money would come from thin air to always push housing prices higher, China has spent a generation pursuing its illusion. Pursuing an unattainable dream to be like the West, while 6000 years of its carefully shepherded top soil blows into the sea.

Ah, York, an all American working class town that still has a working class. Lots of big companies there. Caterpillar did well with earnings if memory serves.
Allentown is about an hour away. Not many PA people here, though there are some. I've been all over the country for work and I have to say that PA is much better off than a lot of the rest of the country. I think it has to do with the fact that we didn't boom with the rest of the country, so we aren't busting with it. _________________ "That's the problem with mercy, kid... Howdy, I'm in Allentown.
Holy Moly, KingCoal. I work in Allentown! We should have lunch sometime!
Sure, my work is very slow right now, I'm working from home a lot which is why I've been posting a lot lately. There is a local Peak Oil club, but I've never made it to any of the meetings because I've been so busy in the past. I do a lot of software work for material handling companies, most of whom have huge truck fleets. Guess what? They are getting killed by high diesel prices! Surprise, surprise. If people think it's gloomy around here, you should hear these guys. As a result, they are battened down. Anyway, I'll send you a PM this week and we'll see if we can get some lunch. _________________ "That's the problem with mercy, kid... It just ain't professional" - Fast Eddie, The Color of Money

Ultra conservative capitalist in fear of the fed...
See ya' around...
Being an "ultra conservative capitalist", you're going to have a lot more to fear than just the fed...imagine what's going to happen once the unemployment rate skyrockets above 25% and 20 million people lose their homes. If you guessed the greatest "reallocation" of wealth in history, you're spot-on. Capitalism is now in its last, final days, trust me on that one.
But your musical skills sure will come in handy in the future though...welcome aboard. _________________ Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide...
