Like the illusion of Wall Street, with its vast and powerful investment banks, now shuttered, China too is an illusion perpetuated by the Globalists that gave us the 15,000 mile Caesar salad, poisoned cat food and lead based paint on babies' pacifiers. Like the illusion that money would come from thin air to always push housing prices higher, China has spent a generation pursuing its illusion. Pursuing an unattainable dream to be like the West, while 6000 years of its carefully shepherded top soil blows into the sea.

Yeah, they've been looking for a causa belli for a long time. Now they are going to wait for Israel to attack and Iran to retaliate. Then use Iran's retalliation.

Good call Cid - can a moderator move this to geopolitics so we can open it up?
Some applicable US Legal Code, beginning with the limit of treason as defined in The Constitution of the United States:
Quote:
Article III Section 3 delineates treason as follows:
Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court.
...
2382 Misprision of treason, which dictates that any
person who has knowledge of treason is thereby guilty of treason
himself.
...
2388. Activities affecting armed forces during war
(a) Whoever, when the United States is at war, willfully makes or conveys false reports or false statements with intent to interfere with the operation or success of the military or naval forces of the United States or to promote the success of its enemies; or
Whoever, when the United States is at war, willfully causes or attempts to cause insubordination, disloyalty, mutiny, or refusal of duty, in the military or naval forces of the United States, or willfully obstructs the recruiting or enlistment service of the United States, to the injury of the service or the United States, or attempts to do so—
Shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than twenty years, or both.
(b) If two or more persons conspire to violate subsection (a) of this section and one or more such persons do any act to effect the object of the conspiracy, each of the parties to such conspiracy shall be punished as provided in said subsection (a).
(c) Whoever harbors or conceals any person who he knows, or has reasonable grounds to believe or suspect, has committed, or is about to commit, an offense under this section, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both. (d) This section shall apply within the admiralty and maritime jurisdiction of the United States, and on the high seas, as well as within the United States.
...
2389. Recruiting for service against United States
Whoever recruits soldiers or sailors within the United States, or in any place subject to the jurisdiction thereof, to engage in armed hostility against the same; or
Whoever opens within the United States, or in any place subject to the jurisdiction thereof, a recruiting station for the enlistment of such soldiers or sailors to serve in any manner in armed hostility against the United States—
Shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than five years, or both.
So. Let me connect the dots here. Hersh, I know it's against the morals of a good reporter, but give up your source, or you're comitting treason. There's aparently "cause to believe," he wrote an article about it. Whoever the source is, give up everyone in the room, or they're guilty of treason. Then let's get the whole story and let the chips fall where they may. This is exactly why these laws exist. If there's nothing to hide and this article is bogus, let's find out. If not, let's put the screws in until they start singing. I'm sick and tired of the selective enforcement of law when it comes to this ruling class.

Because it makes the tinfoil hat people to squirm for the Bush administration not to do things exactly the way the conspiracy theorists predict. _________________ http://doomsteaddiary.blogspot.com/

yeah and those "conspiracy theorists" read it word for word in PNAC's document and Brzezinski's book. They may have been theories in '99, but they're fact now. _________________ "The future power is manpower"
