Like the illusion of Wall Street, with its vast and powerful investment banks, now shuttered, China too is an illusion perpetuated by the Globalists that gave us the 15,000 mile Caesar salad, poisoned cat food and lead based paint on babies' pacifiers. Like the illusion that money would come from thin air to always push housing prices higher, China has spent a generation pursuing its illusion. Pursuing an unattainable dream to be like the West, while 6000 years of its carefully shepherded top soil blows into the sea.

Renaming threads?

The moderators have done some excellent work merging threads, but
there are some threads and topics that would be easier to find if they
were renamed. Has anyone thought about this?

There are a lot of threads like:
"Nuclear electric cars---coming to a garage near you"

Which would be easier to find with a more sensible name:
"Nanomaterial turns radiation directly into electricity"

A lot of these discussions get lost or repeat possibly because of
poor choices for the name. An index of technologies discussed with
links might be another way to solve that problem, but changing the
name of a few threads would probably be easier...

We do get some weird thread titles, ie: "Hi" "Huh?" "WTF?"
It would be immensely helpful if the thread titles contained a specific keyword that pertained to the original post.

Yeah like a topic/title heading that was chosen by a moderator, that would be good for posters and the site. But it might take a bit of work to make that happen...
