Like the illusion of Wall Street, with its vast and powerful investment banks, now shuttered, China too is an illusion perpetuated by the Globalists that gave us the 15,000 mile Caesar salad, poisoned cat food and lead based paint on babies' pacifiers. Like the illusion that money would come from thin air to always push housing prices higher, China has spent a generation pursuing its illusion. Pursuing an unattainable dream to be like the West, while 6000 years of its carefully shepherded top soil blows into the sea.

Georgians kill women and children Russian Federation citizens, remaining in the city.
Fights against Georgian infantry are conducted on the south and south-western outskirts of Tskhinval. Resistance is being held so far, but a group of Georgian special forces came through the city, they throw grenades into basements which shelter women and children. Georgian tanks are approaching the south-eastern part of Tskhinval.
Georgia doesn’t let evacuate civilians and journalists from Tskhinval.

Hello Oksana, when i saw the picture of the soldier holding the anxious and despared baby in his arms, i got very angry. Most probably it lost it's parents.
War is such a bullshit! Weapons are such a bullshit! What could be done with all that money?
I served two years as a volunteer in the german army (From age of 19 till 21). Now i wouldn't do that again, but instead i would do a social work.
Cindy Sheehan (she has lost her oldest son in Irak) has written recently an open letter to all people loving peace: She says that everybody should stop his work till all the wars are stopped and the soldiers are back home in their countries.
A relative of me (his mexican mother is the sister of my aunt) died last year in February in Irak. He leaves behind his wife and two children. I saw him running in the house of my parents in Germany when he was a little child.
I suspect with high a high degree of probability that this reports are true, because there is a lot of money in the background and politics has to cover the truth before people start to disover it.
For us, even for us europeans (most of us never visited eastern europe) it is very difficult to distinguish just by photos who is on which side. The writing is different, we can't distinguish the faces, the uniforms, the tanks, the images of citys, the landscapes, etc.
Germany is, for sure, involved with several aspects (perhaps delivery of weapons, military advisors, secret service informations - a saying goes: "Death is a master from Germany) on the side of Georgia.
Germany has very little oil in the ground, but there exists already enough knowledge and technics to be independent of oil completely and in only some years (light cars with very low consumption, enhancement of mass transit, work at home, more support for agriculture). But this needs a complete change in mind.
Some soldiers (especially the mercenary troops) are pure sadists, others are executing orders because they have fear and some are already psychological hurt very bad so they can't distinguish any more between good and bad.
Why do men are becoming mercenarys? I once thought also to serve eventually at the Legion d'Honneur in France. For Christ sake i didn't do it.
My parents (both are teachers, now retired) did everything to feed me and to give me shelter, but they didn't care too much for my soul (my marks were more important then my feelings, was beaten by the mother several times, was bellowed by my father very often when i made mistakes at my home-works). That's sounds a bit hard. In relation to the childhood of other people it was a very mild form of miseducation, nevertheless psychological injurys are comparable to physical ones.
Last year i discovered the books of Alice Miller (e.g. "The drama of the talented child", "In the beginning was education", "You shall not notice"). This books opened my eyes a lot. I learned that my parents just transferred their own experiences with violence in their childhood to me. My father (69 years old, me 40) till today narrated perhaps two or three sentences about his own childhood, so i suppose, in relation to Alice Miller books, that his experiences weren't too happy also.
So we don't need more violence or hatred in our life but more love and tolerance. To give a smile to somebody and above all to listen is often more important than to fight in a war for peace, perhaps because of this smile someone and to give the feeling someone cares about you decides about going to the army or not.
I know that in many countries, fathers are expelling their sons from home when they are 18. To survive, the only solution is often to serve as a soldier.

Good words those, probably the best ones spoken lately on this site. I am at least working alongside you in the Permaculture and gardening angle.

Good find,I saw those photos before, but i didn´t notice it was the same guy, it may be that they are identical triplets (or even quadruplets), I mean, I coudn´t possibly think that someone is trying to influence public opinion with phony news, That is unheard of!!!!! _________________ Stocking up on popcorn

I not even convinced the burning aprtment building in the second picture in the background has not been cut and pasted in. See that yellow blanket - it is in both pictures...but the background is different. _________________ 500 MPH into a brick wall - me

i don't think the man in black is the same as the guy holding the body (his nose is different). The picture with the dead man in it is taken from reverse directions. You can see the blood from his wrist in both pictures. In one he has been turned over and is cradled in the other man's arms. I think this is quite plausible series of events. The man with his shirt on and the man crouching are the same man but he probably took his shirt off to use as a bandage at some point.
I'm not saying it might not be easily misleading by choosing only to release some photos or by mistating where it is but seriously you don't think there might be a few dead bodies around when you have a war? Who would need to stage these sorts of shots? _________________ Biofuels: The "What else we got to burn?" answer to peak oil.

What about the burning apt building in the second picture...
I see it is a different angle, but the background is different -
Where is the dirt road on the right top in the second picture?
The tree spacing is different also. _________________ 500 MPH into a brick wall - me

Not long ago you was stating that your wife is Russian, and you seek Russian permanent residence. A bit earlier you was stating to be Westerner (Brit?) living currently in Poland.

The picture with the burning apartment is taken from aproximately where the man in black is standing in the first picture. The burning building is behind the cameraman in the first picture and the dirt road is behind the cameraman in the second picture. _________________ Biofuels: The "What else we got to burn?" answer to peak oil.

You are a lot better than me!
I'm only reading a lot about permaculture and try to spread this knowledge on the web. I don't have the possibility to do something with respect to gardening: No garden and not even a balcony.
