| According to Forbes India now has more billionaires than any other nation in Asia, surpassing Japan. At the same time some of the worlds poorest people live in India. So India has some of the very wealthiest and some of the very poorest in the world. Quite a paradox. |

Here in Mexico we have the second richest man in the world (Carlos Slim), along with millions and millions of poor people.
Go capitalism... |

This awesome economic disparity in almost all nations will feed their undoing. It will only take some consciousness raising event to make things unravel quickly. Such as a huge reduction in ME oil shipments. Or a war.
I wouldn't be surprised to read of mass protests targeting the 27 storie home castle being built in India. 500 personal servants. People starving blocks away. It can't last long. _________________ Got Dharma?

It can't last long. | There are fantastic advances in crowd control technologies, not the least of which is 6000 RPM machine guns with 1 mile range, unmanned Predator aircraft that can hover over an area all day, microwave weapons, and so much more! All to discourage the masses from massing. Note that the increased use of indirect visionrouted through computers can allow software to alter the look of crowds, so the operators don't get discouraged or traumatized and refuse to fire. Making the crowds look like Orcs would have a very positive effect on moral (I am not kidding) for those tasked to wipe out their countrymen, women and children.
The well-to-do have matters pretty much well-in-hand for themselves in this regard, more so every day. |

| India uses a caste system. Perhaps that has something to do with it also. |
