Just wanted to let everyone know I have retired myself from the Admin job here. It was... quite a learning experience! I hope I was helpful rather than harmful on balance.
I made this decision on my own, for several reasons.
I want everyone to know that I think the volunteer staff here are all very committed to doing things fairly and in the best interests of the community here (that's you).
Thanks to all the members and staff for the interesting times, and the opportunity to serve. _________________ "Every junkie's like a setting sun..." - Neil Young |

Thumbs up Shanny! Of course you're not going away.....

Thanks for helping with the unruly mob, and everything else of course.

No, not going away, Drew. I don't think I could manage that.
Thanks for the kind words, all. Gives me warm fuzzies. _________________ "Every junkie's like a setting sun..." - Neil Young |

Not exactly sure what Admins really do here (or at any site, for that matter). But I'm sure you did your job wonderfully and I'm appreciative, especially since it was a free service (sorry I'm too cheap to pony up some cash; I need it for preps). Best of luck with your endeavors. _________________ Riches are not from abundance of worldly goods, but from a contented mind. |

She quits, then is dragged back to semi retired and slaves away for months, and then only when she retires for good do we realize how much we will miss her in the role of semi-retired-admin!
I am glad you are sticking around, I am just getting back into enjoying the depressing place I know as Peak Oil Dot Com and if you left the place would lose one of its leading lights. _________________ Always appeal to a man's enlightened self interest, you can trust him to look out for himself honestly, It's when you appeal to his Honor or the Common Good that he stops paying attention. |

LOL! I was freaked out when I saw that and wondered who did it. Then I realized it's the new 5,000+ posts rank. The one for 10,000 is "Neo-Master" but I think all our > 10,000 post members are "Elite" so we haven't seen that yet. _________________ "Every junkie's like a setting sun..." - Neil Young |
