It's an idea that just won't die, Jack! All that great pork-like meat out there, just going to waste. _________________ "Actually, humans died out long ago."

I remember being in the jungles of SE asia and chased night and day for one 15 day period. I swear I got so hungry I think I could have eaten anything. SO
I have to ask.
HOW hungry would YOU have to be to eat human flesh? I dont believe any or most americans have ever been hungry honestly. So may be hard to really give honest answer.
I do know this about me. I would do whatever it took to survive. I think it would make you sick to do it, but I have a strong drive to live. |

Nope, it won't die. It comes in waves. I suppose we'll see another round in a few months. _________________ Dieoff. Fun to watch. Better with hot buttered popcorn! |

Talk of cannibalism seems to follow the market. When we read of a major series of layoffs or a few larger than usual 'down' days, the mention of people eating as a dietary supplement seems to pick up.
Maybe a graph would demonstrate this better... you know, the number of times cannibalism is mentioned charted against the S & P 500. _________________ Got Dharma?

S&P chart |
My oh my.... we have the charts! And that only took 12 minutes!
And as I predicted, they do follow each other. Notice how the discussions of cannibalism drop off as the S & P climbs ... and how much discussion there was five years ago when the market was lower. There should be a renewed interest in this if the market remains down a bit longer. There appears to be a bit of lag time, probably due to people eating from their last paychecks first.... before moving on. _________________ Got Dharma?

So will someone please analyze this and tell me if the S & p follows the discussion or the other way around ...
Might be a good predictor of the market and a way to make money. Maybe its an inner feeling that something bad is going to happen and surivival vibes kick in?
TELL ME..i need market advice from a reliable source. |

As much as I can!
I come from a country where you can eat your national symbol. I have 2 'roo bangers for breaky each morning. Can't get any more free range than that.
I would not mind trying the Japanese method of cannibalism, eating my food off a live hostess. _________________ Schroedinger's mouse: a cat can't live on probability alone. |
