Like the illusion of Wall Street, with its vast and powerful investment banks, now shuttered, China too is an illusion perpetuated by the Globalists that gave us the 15,000 mile Caesar salad, poisoned cat food and lead based paint on babies' pacifiers. Like the illusion that money would come from thin air to always push housing prices higher, China has spent a generation pursuing its illusion. Pursuing an unattainable dream to be like the West, while 6000 years of its carefully shepherded top soil blows into the sea.

Maybe Shaka Zulu could meet the criteria? Although more of a military leader than statesman.

Otherwise, Cleopatra and a buch of faroes before her.
I mean, Egypt is in Africa.

You do know also that according to a NYPD specialist on facial forensics the features of the face of the sphinx are more akin to black african than egyptian?
Maybe they have a nobler and greater history than we know.

Or maybe asking this in the "Ask a Nigerian" thread could enlighten us more about prominent African leaders.

So no one really knows why they're voting or McCain. Talk about double digit IQs. The dumbing down of the US has really paid off and made them ripe for enslavement and corporate takeover. That whole "slavery is evil" thing was so overplayed but we finally figured a way around it. We can return to our pre-civil war glory. The South has risen.

Sure we know why we are going to vote for McCain. He is less likely to surrender the oil fields in Iraq to the Russians and he is less likely to appoint Hillary to the Supreme Court.

Obama isn't black, neither is McCain. So whom are you talking about? Obama is 50% white, and most of the rest is Semitic (ya know, like YOU) and only a small portion is likely actually black African (6.25%).

And he's trying to take away all of those billionaires' money! Grrr

If you start a thread asking why people are voting for a weenie like McCain, it stands to reason that most of your responses won't be extolling his virtues. Instead, you should expect comments on why McCain may well be the lesser of two evils. Such posts will invariably be more about his opponent.

Ask and ye shall receive! I'm alarmed by BHObama's deep roots in Chicago's radical Marxist subculture. That's his power base, and he was recruited into it out of college. Tells you where he came from intellectually. Interestingly, BHO and Hillary are BOTH direct philosophical descendants of Saul Alinsky, the prototypical American Marxist radical. Not surprising to see them both in the same tent today, since Alinsky said that in the long run the way to carry out the revolution was to "cut our hair and wear business suits." (I note, with all due gratitude, that they likewise adopted the establishment custom of bathing...)

BHO is misrepresenting himself to a gullible public, while adoring fellow travelers who faint in his presence know that "change" is euphemism for Marxist revolution. (I'm with Winston Churchill on this, who said "the only places socialism will work are in heaven, where they don't need it, and in hell, where they already have it". If you want socialism... Laughing ) Here on earth the track record of leftist totalitarians like Obama is a 100% reliable record of human rights violations and unconscionable abuses of power. What we have now is too close for comfort, and we don't need more of what ails us.

BHO sounds marvelous when he has a script, but falls surprisingly flat when he has to think on his feet. The cracks are there to see if you want to see them. In the primaries the venues are easy to control, but all that changes in about six more days. If BHO gets suckered into debates or finds himself in front of audiences that aren't handpicked, people may have to shut up about how inarticulate Bush is. This is the difference between charisma (which Obama has in spades) and ability and substance, which he may really lack. As in really.

Also, if he strays too far from the red carpet, I think his jaw is made of glass. Heck, he gets ANGRY when people make fun of his ears, which is a hell of a note for someone in his forties. This guy will self-destruct under the right pressure.

I've read BHO's "Dreams From My Father" which is a curious title considering that he was abandoned by said sperm donor. Sadly, dad bailed shortly after he was born, and young Barry only met his father one more time - that as an adolescent when dad visited for less than a week. BHO comes from a gene pool that nobody could be proud of. His father was married to two women at the same time and ultimately sired eight kids by four women that we know of. (This should deeply offend almost everyone here at PO.com, yet I know many here worship the ground he walks on.). Not sated by polygamy, dad was also an alcoholic and a serial drunk driver. That's how he eventually died, but only after numerous drunk driving crashes that necessitated the amputation of both legs along the way. This clown couldn't even hold a government job in Kenya.

Mom was one of those hippie radicals who was repeatedly drawn to Muslims of color - apparently for no better reason that because it was such a fashionably shocking thing for a girl from Kansas to do. (Don't KNOW her motives, obviously, but I'm hopeful it wasn't for how they treated her...) After BHO's dad abandoned them, she found out about his other wife and divorced. Quick learner that she was, she then took up with an Indonesian Muslim, and soon dragged young Barry to Indonesia. She sent him packing home to her parents when her new hubby turned out to be the same loser alcoholic as her old beau.

Young Barry's white grandparents took responsibility for him and sacrificed to send him to an elite private school in Hawaii. This set the stage for what's been a charmed red carpet kind of life ever since. After reading "Dreams" I'm astonished at the fabrications about his childhood and equally astonished that he appropriated the "angry black radical" schtick when he was in fact living the American Dream. Since he didn't have a real family, he appropriated one that allowed him to channel his anger at whitey rather than his parents. Among other things, that's racist.

I'm not saying that this kid's childhood was pleasant. Growing up is tough enough when Mom and Dad are both there, and I'm sympathetic to anyone who comes from as dysfunctional a family as did Barry. It's the response that matters, and it's important to note that even by his late forties he hasn't dealt with any of this. When you compare the fantasies in "Dreams" to the reality of his early life, you realize you're looking at a guy who built his psychological house on a sandbar.

Wife Michelle shares his angry black Marxist world view, yet she has led an equally charmed life. What a pair. Sensitive guy that I am, I can certainly feel the pain of a disadvantaged black couple that only makes half a million a year. Such tribulations...

Under our political structure I think the greatest short-term danger to our liberty lies in a single party (either one) controlling both the executive branch AND the legislature. At such a juncture they would pack the court and the result would be highly unpleasant either way. Whether from the left or from the right, the outcome would ultimately be a police state. (Understood that we're descending toward just that, anyway. Driving the bus off the cliff isn't the remedy...)

I think more short-term harm would be done this way than by continued compromise, which is bad enough. I'd prefer gridlock. Really. I'd happily pay them all twice as much if they'd stay home and stoned all day long. Sure, they'd go after pizza the way they now pursue power and interns, but we could fund unlimited take-out and still save trillions... ("...and the lightest US Senator, weighing in at only 470 lbs., is...)

Anyway, in the final analysis, BHO and McCain belong to the same club, and their strings are pulled by the same puppetmasters. They're actually just opposite sides of the same coin, and I get that. We're putting that coin back in the slot this November just like clockwork. Even so, McCain, proven crook and buffoon that he is, probably can't do half the harm as BHO purely for the fact that he won't move the pendulum's pivot point half as far toward totalitarianism. At least he'll pretend not to, and at this late date I'll settle for that aesthetic.

Cynicism aside for a moment, I do hold out some hope that McCain won't let the world's remaining oil go to Russia without a fight (here's where that glass jaw is frightening) and that the Supremes won't be disfigured to the point where Ginsberg becomes attractive in a retrospective.

Want some practical advice? Go long on ammo. If BHO gets in it'll be a hot commodity...

I am sending in an absentee ballet for John McCain!
Why not I am 33 years old and want to live the oil age a few more years..J McCain is the best bet preserve that way of life....if Obama wins..he will likely pull troops out of oil regions thus only speeding the decline.
I personally dont think the world is going to suffer too much anyway until around 2012+...so this next Presidency will just be a 1 termer who will see a recession and fall of the dollar more.
The President from 2012-2016 will be Hoover #2 "I hope Hilarious Clinton gets pegged then"

BO was an "affirmative action" admittance at the elite Hawaiian academy. He is clearly a talented guy, but he wasn't smart enough to qualify academically, but he was a minority so he was admitted and given a tuition waiver.

Obama received "affirmative action" (i.e. discriminatory admission) because he was black. These racial preferences benefitted him throughout his academic career---- Michelle Obama was also admitted to an elite college and law school in spite of her low qualifications solely because of her skin color.

For instance, the former director of admissions at Columba says:

According to Columbia records, Obama was admitted despite thirteen Whites, seven Asians and six Hispanics having better grades and being more qualified.
According to admissions official Michael McHenry, “We were pressured to have Africans attend our university to get more government funds.” “He (Obama) was obviously unqualified but we needed the funds from the government.”
When asked about the students that were more qualified that were denied acceptance, McHenry states “I pray everyday that their lives have worked out. They were cheated out of a top quality education. I have prayed to God for forgiveness for the inequality and unfairness I have subjected upon the better qualified kids.”

When jews in America start committing violent crimes at a rate 10 times the white average, instead of 3 times less, get back to me. We are as far from africans as is possible.

Spoken like a true idiot.
Africa is in the state today not because of African inability but because of Western political interference & manipulations. Take Republic of Congo for example- its democratic movement was crashed, its democratic leader, Patrice Lumumba, murdered by Belgians and Mubutu the army guy was appointed as head of state with American dollars.
Read The Assassination of Lumumba by Ludo de Witte if ignorance is your only problem.

Then you suggest to us that the moral failures of Obama's father -- a man you contend had nothing to do with the upbringing of his son or the shaping of his character -- somehow bestow upon McCain superior abilities to govern? You're voting for McCain because you feel Obama's father would have made a poor president?

Why do I get the feeling if a white candidate had risen above the tale of parental woe you spin here, you'd be praising to the rafters the personal acumen, talent, intelligence, and strength evident in getting so far; a testament to the power of the individual in the United States, yadda yadda yadda...? Instead, it's portrayed as weight holding him back, making his judgment questionable.

I get the feeling a big part of why you, and others like you, are voting for McCain is he's the right colour to be president.
