Light Sweet Crude Oil

Member Quotes
Oil's energy contribution has declined by about 12% since 1999. The world's economies have also declined by about 12%. (Using conventional metrics, which are time delayed determinations, this will only be seen in hind sight). The massive destruction of asset values now occurring testifies to it happening. Peak is well behind us, world economies have peaked and will continue to decline.

No need. I'll just make some popcorn and see what the idiots on the business channels have to say about today. They're all hallucinating for me at this point.

CNBC is really entertaining to watch these days. It's fun to see how the various talking heads spin this.

Cremer is, as always, a blustering blowhard of a clown: "There's always a bull market somewhere!"

So lets see. Down 4% today. Wasnt yesterday 2%? Another 4 on Monday.

So for the week we're down roughly 10%? The weekly total thus far STILL isnt enough to kick in the market stops on a per day change.

Free fall? Crash? End of times?

Hardly. This is a beautiful controlled descent. Granted "We the people" are getting fleeced pretty good for it and it could pick up the downward pace at any point but for now I'm impressed with how well the market is handling it all.

Absolutely, we are on the track at Indianapolis with Henry in the Driver's Seat and Ben in charge of the Pit Crew. I feel very safe.

I didnt say we should feel safe. I didnt say things are ok.
I said for whats happened the market has held up quite well. I mean hell we havent even had a early closure of the markets have we?
So, seems things are goin pretty well all things considered.
