Light Sweet Crude Oil

Member Quotes
Oil's energy contribution has declined by about 12% since 1999. The world's economies have also declined by about 12%. (Using conventional metrics, which are time delayed determinations, this will only be seen in hind sight). The massive destruction of asset values now occurring testifies to it happening. Peak is well behind us, world economies have peaked and will continue to decline.

The stock market is down about 200, but it's early. Oil is up, but again, it's early in the day.

Who knows what will happen?

Paused 5 min trading.

Equities are a bust. The traders aren't stupid. They know they can take that cash out and put it into things that won't devalue and will always be needed, such as commodities. Oil is one of them, expect metals and food to take-off too.

Spots are almost entirely back in triple digits - Louisiana Sweet at $119.80. Southerners will soon be filling up nothing but bicycle tires at this rate.
