Whilst I do not disagree with what you posted the part I quoted is merely the perception the working class has. The real reason for the drop in wages is that very large main contractors can now dictate the hourly rate that the subcontractors pay to their operatives rather than having the subcontactors tender for the work on a level playing field.
You will pay x per hour to your operatives and you will have y per hour for your margin and if you disagree someone else who IS willing to do the work will get the work. If the Eastern Europeans weren't here there would still be someone to do the job, they would simply use lower skilled workers to do a higher skilled job.
on topic though: Detention for not participatingng in a ritual that your parents see fit for you to partake in? I don't know how I feel about that, I'd rather that the parents had their say over that of the state. Deluded fairytale believers though they may be, I still think the parents should have more control than the state.
Edit: I now have to admit to not reading the daily mail link  however I refuse to read anything the Daily Mail has to say. |

| Rubbish. Nobody gives a flying Fark about religion in the UK. The tabloids always publish stories about people banning Christmas, political correctness gone too far, and so on. It's bullshit that they make up or grossly distort when they run out of junkie celebrities or athletes sleeping with prostitutes. |

You forgot White Muslims which make up about 180,000 or more than 10% of Muslims. I won't stand for the neglect of my white brothers. It's like we don't exist (to anybody).
Why did we bring this rubbish back up?
