ABC News reports this morning that a "deal has been reached" on the $700 billion bail out.
Swell.
I'm not much for prognostications, but I will bet money that this $700 billion grows into something much larger before all is said and done. I'm disgusted beyond what words could express that our legislative representatives voted *against* 70% of American's stated wishes.
$700 billion. A fantastic sum of money. They have sold our collective souls to keep the bankers happy.

So true there, and if the opposition is equally bad, then Elmer Fudd gets the vote, assuming no third party is running. Maybe I will just right in Ron Paul instead. |

It will be funny to see how short lived the stock market bounce will be.
I'd give it a month at most, a few days at worst.
Bottom line is, nobody has any extra money to spend, so it's not going to matter what happens up on top of the crumb distribution level; no money to buy crumbs at the lower levels.
Of course financial stocks will bounce up for a bit, so there's that.

Note that Obama and McCain approved that bailout. When it's about serious things, politicians tell the same. US citizens don't live in a democracy, they live in a fake one. Disneyland is broke.
All of this will end in tears and blood when Joe Sixpack will be fired, without oil to put in the tank, no more football on TV and the children telling him : "Dad, I'm hungry..." |

Needless to say the changes in the bill are just window dressing to give the appearance of not being a straight bailout.
The core economic issues and related to the plan and the effects of its implementation have not changed. The only way to keep everything afloat is to print money and lots of it. |

Sys1 is right, we have a rubber-stamp government when it comes to protecting the rich, maintaining the empire, and feeding the "defense" monster.
Register your protest against the handout by voting against the criminal incumbents who voted for it. Do it.

Last figure I saw was that only 7% of the American public supported this bailout. I guess that means they count the politicians and Wallthief elite as part of the general public.
They've been emphasizing the 700 billion figure. I'll bet there is a clause in the agreement that prevents the money above that from being mentioned publicly.

It's not over yet, it still has to go before the full house and senate, tomorrow. Cross your fingers that there are enough representatives with integrity enough to represent their constituency by voting it down. Today is the last opportunity to emphasize to the government that they WILL be voted out of office if they vote yes on this measure.

So when it passes...
and when it fails to do what it is designed to do (as presented by the criminal Paulson, Bush, and Bennie and the Inkjets to the amerikan people)...it will do what it was designed, but not told to us, - to crash the dollar leading to a default on debts...
and when the perps are not "brought to justice"...whatever that means...
Can we say the NWO is firmly in place?
