Light Sweet Crude Oil

Member Quotes
I think this is the beginnings of an economy based on perpetual growth and fossil fuel energy running headlong into geological energy constraints. Basically I see an undulatory downward path for the rest of my life. From here out, I think any rallies in our economic condition are going to be met with spiking commodity prices that knock us right back down.

April 2, please. If it's $60 on April 1, everyone will just assume it's an April Fool's joke! Laughing

Unless we get news to push prices up, it looks like my prediction is April Fools!

Seeing as there's no excitement in this thread anymore, let's do something different: how low will light, sweet slide before it starts going up again?

I say: down to $46 before some sort of minor event reminds everyone how tight supplies are right now and it heads back up again.

8 trillion one dollar bills?

I don't think you can.
I remember one time I couldn't cash out my bank account in cash. They will only cut me a check. I don't think any bank will cash you that amount in dollar bills. haha

both of you are crazy.
8 trillion combs or trinkets will deprive everyone else of any oil. Razz
imagine the amount of oil it takes to make and ship it with how much oil we have left.

No no no. 8 bills worth a trillion dollars each. Very few are known to exist. One was once in the posession of C. Montgomery Burns; now said to be held by Fidel Castro.

Dammit, looks like today could be the day it reverses its slide, probably based on that Goldman Sachs report this morning or something.

So much for my $46 prediction Sad

The National Debt Clock is going backwards today, I suppose that happens depending on various factors.
