I think this is the beginnings of an economy based on perpetual growth and fossil fuel energy running headlong into geological energy constraints. Basically I see an undulatory downward path for the rest of my life. From here out, I think any rallies in our economic condition are going to be met with spiking commodity prices that knock us right back down.
I didn't mean to cloud the syringe issue; sorry. Can you use insulin syringes for local anesthetic injection, say if you needed to suture a wound? My mom used to have to give my brother allergy shots every night. I wonder what kind of syringes she used.
Yes, insulin syringes can be used for that type of anesthetic -- in softer tissue. Might want something a little heavier duty for tendons, etc.

Probably need to find some seeds that haven't been baked though.

The expiration date for medications comes from stability testing of the medication by the drug company. This is required by the FDA before the drug company can get approval. The drug company has to prove to the FDA that the drug is active in the labeled dose amount for the time written on the packaging. No it is not a marketing ploy by the drug companies, but a requirement of the FDA.

That said, the FDA does not require the drug companies to find out the longest time the drugs are stable. Therefore most drug companies will not perform stability testing past 6 months. It's not in their interest and the FDA doesn't require it.

Each drug will degrade at different rates so it's hard to know the answer. That said, most antibiotics in the dry form are pretty stable and will be good for years.

I use to work for a drug company in research and development, I know what I'm talking about.

I've seen ones from the spice section of the supermarket germinate almost 100%.

I have used the vet antibiotics before many times they use the same pills in the PDR. Regarding the shelf life Mizzou has offered great advice.
