China and India are experiencing rapid economic growth but so is Vietnam where economic growth has reached 8% per year. The Phillipines is experiencing an economic upswing as is Malaysia and other. With all this economic growth energy demand is going to go through the roof all over the continent not just in Chindia.
In places like Malaysia and Thailand the streets are crowded with moped and little 150cc motorbikes. could this change to small cars soon? Being a motorcyclist myself i hope not. We riders need stength in numbers(: Seriously more focus needs to be the whole of the Orient not just on the two largest countries. |

Some guys came to work here in a mine in western australia from the philipines. Between the two of them they had bought 3 cars as soon as they could. Didn't need them just wanted cars and photos to send back to their families and friend.
I guess everyone wants cars. |
