Hello everyone, I am Christopher. I picked the name “Drill Bites” because I used to work on an oil rig just like on the T.V. show “Black Gold.” I was researching more information on peak oil when I found this site. I checked it out and a couple of weeks later I registered and now I am doing my first post. Anyway, you wanna know anything else, ya gotta ask. C ya.

Actually yes, I did. I used to be a worm on an oil rig, and one of the phrases used was about how the drill 'bites' into what ever it is going through. Drillbites is just kinda my way of making fun of the fact that we can not drill our way out of this situations. Kinda like saying "No matter how deep the drill bites, it will never be enough." See...

I figured there had to be an explanation.
I actually work as a petroleum landman. You are probably familiar with that but if not I am the guy who negotiates the oil and gas leases that are required before you all start drilling.
Its nice to have another industry person and I look forward to your insight.
