Gender/Age?

Maybe an optional gender and age slot in a member profile? Anyone else agree?

If you want people to know your age and gender you can always include it in your signature, or mention it in your messages. Too many subconscious judgements are made about the value of what someone is saying if age and gender are part of your knowledge of the speaker.

I dont think i've ever seen a forum with a Age and Gender tag, usualy just hometown, nickname, date registered and post count. But thats besides the point. It seems like unneeded bandwidth space, and bandwidth is not a renewable and infinate resource. And being that the tone on this message board is conservation, it would violate many of our beliefs, rights and morals Razz
