I was recently asked to speak to a local group about Cap and Trade. I am no expert on the nuances of different C&T proposals, but I have a deep skepticism of any scheme that proposes to save the world though greed.
What do other smart folks here think about C&T schemes? Is there something I'm missing? What are the alternatives?
Yes, I know, we're already totally f'd. But people want to hear about some plan, some way forward that might promise some glimmer of a chance of a future. What do we tell them? |
