Yes, the FDIC has a bit of a problem, along with the Federal Home Loan Bank Board - who lent them billions.

US citizens will be paying for this, what ever they call it when its over. TPTB are mistaken if they can keep the banking collapse hidden until after the elections.

Yeah, but this whole mess started because the US citizens couldn't afford their mortgage payments. Maybe we can get the Chinese to spot us a few more billion. Rolling Eyes

PeopleSoft CEO's $800 million mansion is losing value. You taxpayers are going to pay for this.

Slight reword:

Another reword:

This whole mess started because the taxpayers couldn't afford to subsidize the debt of the rich. But they will. One way or another.

I'm befuddled by the fact that I struggle to afford a meager American lifestyle, yet apparently I can also behind the scenes pay for everyone else's mac daddy phat lifestyle.

Damn I must be good.

It's called socialism.

You're soaking in it.

When a system is set up to forcibly redistribute wealth under the pretense of "the public good", the people who control the system make out like bandits.

No surprise there.
