I will believe the Saudis don't see any upcoming problems with Ghawar when they cancel one of their projects due to low oil prices. If they continue to be full steam ahead with increasing their capacity then I think they are aware that Ghawar may not be as robust in 5 years time as they would like us to believe.

The latest Republican tactic?

Step 1: Bankrupt opposition voters and force them out of their homes.
Step 2: Once they have been evicted make sure they can't vote.
Quote:
the drive in Michigan to deploy poll challengers is intended to reduce turnout in poor areas and among African Americans, disproportionately affected by the housing crisis and thought to be likely Democratic voters.

You can vote - as long as it's Republican

Ah yes, let's bring back the old system so we can all vote early and often.

I've actually had my eye on this tactic for a little while. Other groups targeted with these practices are students, and people in military housing. Doesn't usually get much coverage for the reason that both parties do this.

You do have the right to vote. We aren't going to count it, but you can vote. See here where it says you can vote? Yeah, doesn't say we'll count it. Bye now. Thanks.

People normally only get one vote.

However, since the democrats want people to be able to vote in the district where they formerly lived, and then vote again where their legal residence is now, it must be OK. The democrats are clearly supporting the right to vote when they argue that voting laws don't matter and those folks should have two votes.
