Six months of declining employment during a period when we are told the GDP is positive.
So it doesn't take a PhD to see where employment is headed when the economy goes into a more serious downturn - a downturn that will gain in momemtum in the thrid quarter.

Now, THAT's nervous! I thought this thread was making a big deal out of some eye blinks...The guy is talking to himself a few times!
Sure the GDP is positive - if you assume 3.6% inflation. If you used the REAL inflation level by traditional measurements of 9-13% (and that's out of date with the recent month or two's increases), the growth rate is -5% or -6%. I wonder if any of them ever admit that to themselves or do they just pretend the funny cooked figures they spew are the truth? |
