If "it's bunker time" why the fark do you care about the price of gold? You evolved some enzyme that lets you digest the stuff?

How long can I power a generator that'll run my TV and Wii?

Video gaming in the future = recharging my DS on the PV system.
(I know.. video gaming is probably my one big weakness..) Razz

Entertainment will become increasingly local, live and acoustic. People will not give up their diversions, and the above is the only way to even partly detach the price of entertainment from the spiraling price of energy. That $9 won't get you two gallons of gas for a whole lot longer - my bet is it won't get you a movie either.

Two gallons gets me to work and back and at this point in time i'd rather have a days wages then watch a movie, especially when I consider that a days wages pays about half the cable bill. I've got 'On Demand' so i can watch lotsa' movies any time i want as long as I pay the cable bill.

Some people save money on movies and DVDs via BitTorrent.

Hey, as long as the movies keep getting made, it's ok by me. Smile

Actually, it's possible to get high quality HD 1280x720 anime from bittorrent while the highest resolution I can get from the local anime store is DVD 720x480. Although I use both... Very Happy
