I will believe the Saudis don't see any upcoming problems with Ghawar when they cancel one of their projects due to low oil prices. If they continue to be full steam ahead with increasing their capacity then I think they are aware that Ghawar may not be as robust in 5 years time as they would like us to believe.

A friend of mine told me that there are two reasons why you always see lots of construction workers in bars. The first is the beer, the second is that is it is the "office." If you want a construction job, go to any working class bar near a construction site and hang around. There's always some boss in there with a project needing workers.

in the UK you just go to a working site and ask for a "start"

I'm in contract archaeology and we are among the first in when it comes to development so when project finance dries up we hear it first

looks like I will be out of a job some time next year.

Silly Brits Rolling Eyes , why doesn't your government use a flawed employment model, periodically "adjusting it" by, say, the birth/death mechanism, to simply fudge the employment numbers? It works across the pond!
