I will believe the Saudis don't see any upcoming problems with Ghawar when they cancel one of their projects due to low oil prices. If they continue to be full steam ahead with increasing their capacity then I think they are aware that Ghawar may not be as robust in 5 years time as they would like us to believe.

WTF? Why didn't the media report that? I guess it was overshadowed by all the other bad news for business as usual. I wonder how much of that index is petroleum products?
We're definitely in serious stagflation. The question is still out there as to whether the "stag" or the "flation" will be worse this time. The fed looks more and more impotent every day, even though they're really doing a decent job given the situation Greenspan handed them.
