It's been said that "ignorance is bliss".
Do you ever regret knowing about PO and its tragic consequences? Do you ever catch yourself thinking (if only for a second) "I wish I didn't know? |

| No, because everyone is going to know about this sooner or later and I'd rather be in the "sooner" group (even if I am somewhat new to the group here). |

Wow, I'm surprised not more people regret it. I'd rather not have known, but I am a curious person by nature so it would have been unlikely. _________________ As long as I am around, there are no worries we have reached "Peak Words"

| I think knowing makes watching the events unfold that much more interesting. I've suspected most of my life that something was wrong and in fact, with no prior knowledge of peak oil wrote a high school essay (~ 1998) about the instability of the global financial system and our dependence on oil. I became "peak oil" aware in November of 2004 and have not looked back or once regretted having time to prepare for what is coming. |

Ditto.
I've always been fascinated by our dependence on oil, long before I ever knew about the concept of "peak oil." |

I've tried being a sheep.....from about 2000 to 2001. My little experiment was ended rather quickly. Here I am. But still there are times where I wish I did not know......jeez...this is my second time conversing about this today....oh well. Overall, I'm better off knowing...now if that damn Planet X thing could get sorted out!

| Nope-I've had a somewhat PO mentality especially since my masters and doctorial research was in engineering with background in the energy fields. I worked underground and surface mines (in an engineering capacity) in several appalachian coal mines. I have been a fan of Urban Survival daily news and stumbled on to PO from there-I wish I would have found this site earlier. |
