Houses Just Too Expensive

Hi, I live in the UK (one of the most expensive countries in the world)
and the price of houses is just a joke. I'm not sure how I can make preparations due to this fact so I'm pretty stuck. It's not as if you can just grab some land and bulid your own is it?

Good point, I have one person but it's still too expensive. I'm probably going to need about 5 or something.

I agree its getting crazy my property taxes just doubled this year its getting time to make my permanent move into a rural area unless the mill levy rate drops.
