Meanwhile, keep watching for shortage reports, because we should start seeing some sneak in this week, if our doom-o-meter is calibrated correctly.

Hello everyone,

I am in Wales in a windy place.

Winter here nearly killed me, it actually did traumatize me, this was my life changing preview experience of the future without cheap energy.

To the point.
Alcohol and bread production need lots of energy. I do not think this fact has been adequately understood. A life without beer or bread is to be avoided.

Currently ALL brewing and baking (99% anyway) uses fossil fuel which, as you know, as it expires becomes too expensive to use.

I have a design to build, on my location in Wales, or elswhere, a wind powered steam boiler that can be used to bake bread and brew beer. This location is several hectares with various buildings so it can accomodate travelling engineers and other interested parties.

In the past I have been ripped off in business, also I have had a patent grant that was pointless because I marketed poorly - not this invention, another one.

I want advice , assistance to nail this project, get it done, succeed. I am interested to hear from backers, engineers, helpers, beer drinkers, bread eaters, whatever.

Overall I see a future where we can continue but we must maintain a high level of technology to do that.

I suppose you are using NiChrome heating elements to achieve cooking / brewing temps?

If you built your system, and made beer under a "green label"...would it sell at a premium? Could you compete with other micro-breweries?

How is the coal situation in wales these days?
