A quick precis from your good self would be useful, given I'm in work and can't go watching long movies.

Ley lines have something to do with the occult, something about Earths energy?

Not really. I was initially quite sceptical, but your insightful and forensic analysis won me over.

Washington looks designed, and was known to have been designed, so why should it be a surprise that masonry had an influence? Hell, half the founders were masons.

As for the OP, the carvings do not look machine produced, and I am an expert in precision motion control and multi-axis machining. That's not it.

Also, show me one rusted remain of a ballscrew or bearing instead of the piles of hand tools in evidence and perhaps I'll change my thinking, a bit.

I do find it hard to believe that that much slave labor could be fed and forced into such megalithic undertakings, but I grew up in the oil age so wtf do I know...

It's no surprise to me that modern man can't conceive of a lifelong endeavor to do no more than create a straight surveyed line.

I have NOT seen these in person, so I don't have a 1st hand view of things.

You may find this interesting -> Ancient Egyptian Stone Technology - Photos, diagrams & technical discussion of ancient stone machining techniques.

Ever hear of hieroglyphs? They didn't have written accounts except by this method back then.

I don't need to see them in person. I can see the hand work in the photos. It's obvious as could be.

You MAY find this (5) part series interesting? -> The Pyramid Code

Is the modern science establishment telling us the truth about when and why the great pyramids of Egypt were actually built? When were they actually built, by whom, and for what purpose? ...What are they trying to hide?

The Pyramid Code is a made-for-television documentary series of 5 episodes that explores the pyramid fields and ancient temples in Egypt as well as ancient megalithic sites around the world looking for clues to matriarchal consciousness, ancient knowledge and sophisticated technology in a Golden Age. The series is based on the extensive research done in 25 trips to Egypt and 51 other countries around the world by Dr. Carmen Boulter formerly from the Graduate Division of Educational Research at the University of Calgary in Canada.

The Pyramid Code features interviews with prominent scholars and authors in multidisciplinary fields (see Cast): geology, physics, astrophysics, archaeology, bilogical engineering, magnetic field theory, hieroglyphics, and Egyptology. The series explores penetrating questions:

Look, I watch the history channel often, and I greatly enjoy it, but I can't take most of it seriously as it doesn't measure up to my knowledge base.

I know enough to know bullshit when I see it.

I guess you can call me closed-minded then.
