The Dems who kept grandstanding for Fox news did not get one crossover vote and they alienated their base. I'm not entirely unhappy about that.

So, the previously mentioned strategy, finally having guts to kick out the "less evil voting" propaganda is working. Good for you 8)

Blue Dogs, Pelosianismus, .., thrown out of the windows, this will serve as the basis for the last moment self-repair chance in next elections, or the final systemic implosion. In any case, happy about these results too, could be better though, by taking the senate as well.

The Progressive Causus did quite well and is now the largest causus.

The GOP did pretty well by setting the house on fire and then blaming Obama for running up the water bill.

Some things are national civil rights issues, or would you be okay with us still having slave states?

I guess some white guys think it would be ok for some states to restrict the rights of white guys. States rights and all that.....

I guess we'll see how things go with so many folks voting for "more evil." :)

As I mentioned elsewhere I mostly voted my conscience (Green, Libertarian) with a few votes for "less evil" and no votes for "more evil."

Of course my state went for "more evil" (Rick Perry) but that's Dumfukistan for you!

All those $5,000 hookers in DC will be busy busy busy as those God fearing home spun conservative folksy-folks settle in for a long weekend at the DC Hilton with a complementry gym bag full of $50 dollar bills, an ounce of pharmaceutical cocaine, and a couple call girls or maybe even a couple tranny beauty queens.

Yep, those people you voted for will be corrupted a full two months before they get sworn in.

Isn't the decent level escort starting rather at $7.500? I mean the 5grand material, that's only given to Barney Frank and 3rd world diplomat types, right?

This is just the hospitality bag. The $10,000 escorts are for closers.

No joking though, when Bush was President there was a whole bribery industry which sent jack Abramoff and Duke Cunningham to prison, caused a huge shake up at the CIA, and nearly sucked in John McCain Look up "hookergate" and read about it on TPM muckraker.

A lot of the guys who move the cash to GOP congressmen turn out to be former CIA guys from the Reagan era that got their start hauling guns to Nicaraugua for the CIA, like Porter Goss.

There were plenty of convictions but the press buried the story.

Came across this today and I doff my hat graciously to Newfie who hit the bulls-eye!

Trump might officially be a Republican but he certainly has the claim to being a 'reactionary'. With an outside the D.C. establishment view on politics and style of running, winning and stirring things up!

Tanada I've sent several PMs to you and it appears that they are not going out to you. Can you take a look at the problem?
Thanks, SAL

What revolution? We didn't even get a 3rd Party in office - just a Republican. Swapping the D's for the R's, and vice-versa, is the essence of NO CHANGE FROM THE SAME OLD BS.

Trump MAY or MAY NOT be different. Nobody knows. I have beat you over the head with this concept for years:

It does not matter what a Politician SAYS. It only matters what he DOES.

You are at least 12 months too early to have a glimpse of what Trump does. In early 2018 you will have your first glimmer. Until then it does not matter whether the hot gases you emit come from your mouth or your anus, they are useless emissions. Clear enough?
