When you respond to a claim or question I have by calling me a troll instead of arguing, or producing evidence against the claim, or responding to the question by clarifying what you meant, that's an ad hominem attack, unless of course you're joking around. Any personal attack, unless of course in the Hall of Flames, is off-topic and an ad hominem argument. For example...
