Why is it bigoted for a right wing operative to drag a left wing politician through the mud? (as much as American politicians can be said to be left wing that is...) Wherever the President Elect's geographic origins hail from, if he's a lefty, I'm gonna be flinging that mud hard and fast, and have a great deal of fun doing it.

PS:
This idiot is walking into office, saying, look! they screwed us bad by doing "X" over and over. lets save the country by doing... "X". Yes men cower along and respond, "Oh yes! Great Anointed One!"

This is gonna be an entertaining four years.

Look, just because Obama is going to be your president does not mean he alone is responsible for this mess. You should be bitching and complaining about our government as a whole. Your one sided view is so stupid I'm at a loss for words. WTH would McCain have done? He would have done freakin "X" too!! "X" is all we have. Are you really gitty over the fact that we are in a huge mess and you will have the opportunity to spin the blame on to a "lefty"? You sir, have a mental clarity problem. BTW racial prejudice does not equal bigotry.

bigotry
obtuse or narrow-minded intolerance, especially of other races or religions.

This definition fits Reverend Wright and his church perfectly. Reverend Wright was Obama's pastor and Mentor for twenty years. Only a fool would think Obama does not share his "mentor's" belief system.

Next McCain was at the far left of the Republican Party. Therefore that would have put him right in the middle of the political spectrum. Obama is at the far left of the Democratic Party. By all measures he is a socialist.....some may even suggest he is a marxist.

What would McCain have done? Who knows and who cares. The people have spoken and Obama will be our next president. The majority ignored and discounted Obama's past, his inexperience, his associations and accepted the mantra of change. So there are no more what if's....there is only what will be with an Obama administration and Democratic majority in the House and Senate. And as one of his advisors said..."He is ready to Rule".

Let us hope the majority made a good decision. I think we will find out very soon.

Whats this "responsible" thing you are talking about. Its you and me thats responsible. We want AC, we want Certified Organic Produce, we want SUVs, we want electric CARS we want want want want.

Just because I am currently, and will continue to razz the President Elect doesn't imply that I think his government to come, or the governments before are at fault. They, by in large, do what we tell them to do; and sometimes as a people, we tell them to do some outrageously stupid things.

WTH would McCain have done? He would have done freakin "X" too!! "X" is all we have.

Absolutely true; and worse, I'd have to come up with some BS reason why it was a good idea! haha. Not this time babes, thats yalls job. I get to razz the idiot in chief with the same tender mercies you folks showered upon the previous administration with such glee.

Are you really gitty over the fact that we are in a huge mess

I am a doomer, an off the charts one by some reckonnings, albeit at the pace of a cold snail. Nice to have a little fun at a lefty's expense on the way down.

and you will have the opportunity to spin the blame on to a "lefty"?

I'm not blaming the President Elect, or any other administration for the sins and crimes committed by the American people. They are ours, and we will die, and take everyone with us before we pay for them.

Hmmmmmm.........not my article jax flapping. Point of order, KD supported Obama. I suggest reading the article and his other posts.

I assume therefore that KD, as well as others, who critique "the one" will be labeled as racist? Telling..............

"jax flapping"? Let me guess... you though of this yourself.

You and your cronies label him "The One" but can't handle getting labeled yourself. Was it Limbaugh that started this dumb "one" label that you morons keep parroting? Alexdelarge, king trumpeter of all that is ritcious, stick it your pie hole!

Did you vote for Bush too? I bet you did. Admit it, McAlex, you failed us already with your opinion why should anyone believe you now?

We handle it just fine; you just don't like the fact that we won't just role over and go away.

I'm not sure it was Limbaugh that started it; he's not a lot of fun when a Republican is in office. Still, you have to admit, the way President Elect Obama was showcased over the past few years really has the feel of an "Anointed One", the "Blessed Savior of All Lefty Politicos" exercise. Not that that wasn't what the democratic party needed; at least now they have a message; a message of Epic Fail, but a message none the less.

I'm most looking forward to the coalescence of the House Minority; they've been purged of almost all their moderate baggage; that'll be interesting to see how it plays out.

This is a valid point, there is no deniying that. Of the few things I don't like about Obama, this is a big one for me. BUT he is still better that the other option... one of devisive already tested failed policies.

So... its divided we fall then.....

TPTB would have us this way so that we cannot unite against them. You are the sheep that midlessly will allow this to happen with having your big point to prove. If Obama is the wolf in sheep's clothing I will not follow him to the microchipping chamber. Thats the difference between you and me, alex. I think for myself.

Ritcious? Nope....don't know any righteous people. LOL Also I think "the one" was coined by some of the Obama faithful. You err when you assume. You do know what assume means don't you?

Definitely not a fan of McCain and had to hold my nose to vote for him. (FYI, I wanted Ron Paul.) As for Bush.......I have a real problem with these dynastic American political families. ( The Kennedys, The Bushs, The Clintons ) Plus Bush is not a conservative and dropped the ball on the economy.

But all this really does not matter. Obama is President elect. We will all either benefit from his "Rule" or we will all suffer. I think it will be the the latter....... but I do "Hope", for all our sakes, he will be a success.

McCain Ad Mocks Obama as "The One"

Did you guys not pay attention to the very man you voted for?

Democrats did not label him as "the one". You guys have been drinking your own kool-aid for far too long.

Geez, were you born yesterday, or what? It came after his world tour, where he made the rest of the world bow down to him.

Oh, so that was when he declared himself "The One"?
Sorry I missed it when he did "the one" swear in.

Made the rest of the world bow down to him? You have clearly lost all touch with reality, cbxerxyz55678. Buy some glasses and a hearing aid.

I didn't know he merited much attention.

Again, whoever started it simply made an observation upon the way his run up to candidacy was handled; many liberals bought into this Anointing of the President Elect like pop culture candy.

It fit the situation; and remains funny. That certain people are now getting a bit sensitive about the Anointed One's pop title is understandable; but tough fish tacos my friend; ya bought the sparkle, now we're gonna have us some fun!

We sure do stray from topics though, don't we.

I'm not convinced that stimulus packages do any harm any more; I think we're in that state like the Roman Empire long ago; where the politicians dispense with noble rhetoric, shrug, and say, "The mob wants bread"; so they go get some, and toss it around to keep the mob modestly content.

The question from here on out is no longer, "can we go back to the noble ethic of work, and earning your bread."; but, "how long can we keep the mob from being so hungry that they tear the place apart."

How many checks from the government direct, or indirect, will we cash to buy bread and booze, before the check no longer buys anything; and wages are no longer available to be earned?

Where will we line up to receive our daily ration? Who will submit to the level of ID and control required to maintain such a system? Who will rebel and go without?

When does the energy required to maintain such a system exceed the value of maintaining the population of a particular city?
Yes, we are. As we are.

You've got some catching up to do, because I've been having a outright blast with how Obama will be your president since the 5th. You can keep the sparkle as a consolation prize. I hope you find what you are looking for at your sausage fest.

First off, the President Elect has promised me lots of goodies; and if he delivers even a tiny fraction of his promises, I will have lots of free booze to drink while I laugh at the idiocy of free bread and booze for the mob.

I HOPE he's smart enough to come back and say, "yeah, yall were fools to believe there'd be this check or that tax cut; but we can't afford it, and you can't have it." I wouldn't bet highly on that though.

In the end though, he can't fix the economy, and the degree of number fudging they'd have to do to keep the next eight years from looking like an absolute catastrophe will be a source of many jokes itself.

Finally, unjust though it might be, he'll get credit for the 21st century's Great Depression. That will be the funniest of them all; thrust firmly into the path of the unavoidable sledge weighed down by tens of trillions of dollars in unfunded liabilities.

He could rightly say "it wasn't my fault" and point out that it started a couple of weeks before he won the election.

So... I'm curious to know what goodies he has promised you so that we can decifer what you expect of him and what he has stated. I don't think he ever said that he would wave "the hand" and everything would be just hunky-dorry. So, tell me, AgentR. What did he promise since your keeping tally.
