PetroChina has reached a heads of agreement with Shell for the supply of one mtpa of LNG from the Gorgon project in Western Australia. The Shell PetroChina agreement is conditional on a Final Investment Decision being made by the Gorgon Joint Venture Partners. The deadline for the Final Investment Decision is in December 2008.

Massive Human Dieoff <b>must</b> occur as a result of Peak Oil. Many more than half will die. It will occur everywhere, including where <b>you</b> live. If you fail to recognize this, then your odds of living move toward the "going to die" group.

UPDATE. On November 24, 2008 PetroChina and Shell Eastern LNG signed a binding Sales and Purchasing Agreement for the long term supply of LNG from the Gorgon project in Western Australia. During the 20 year contract term Shell will supply up to 2 million tonnes per annum to PetroChina.
