Anyone know a good technology development forum?

Unread postby lorenzo » Tue 05 Aug 2008, 06:24:10

I've got an idea for a simple new energy technology, but because I'm not an engineer I need some advice from more tech-minded people.

I've been looking around for a good place to discuss new ideas (engineering forums, science forums) and have had some basic (positive) feedback.

But I want to take it a bit further, without spending money yet on an engineer who would make a real feasibility study.

So do you know a good place on the net where knowledgeable people come together to discuss innovations/inventions in a peer to peer way? A forum, mailing list, etc...?

The technology I'm looking at is related to concentrating solar power.

Try posting here :)
I spent years while growing up, building a lot of gadgets and stuff. I am pretty tech guy myself.

There are many engineers on this board. Why no post an overview?

You also might want to check out physics forums, some really bright people there that are decidedly less likely to make a snap judgment, but are certainly not going to let any major problems go unnoticed.
