Forgive me ye old-timers if this is new. In my studies I came across something new. Well, new to me anyway. I think, aside from the initial wake up call I got to peak oil a few months ago, this would be the second most difficult news to digest.
Oil production per capita peaked in 1979.
Which means that every gallon of gas I use is a gallon somebody somewhere else doesn't get to use. And of course the paradox would be that if I use it and he can't, I inevitabely make his life better and my life worse. Now my head hurts.
