Massive Human Dieoff must occur as a result of Peak Oil. Many more than half will die. It will occur everywhere, including where you live. If you fail to recognize this, then your odds of living move toward the "going to die" group.

tim,

Remember these are the prices some folks paid for future crude contracts. Some paid $30 more than Friday's close.... many paid less. The $15 just represents the prices when trading stopped. Tuesday it will all start over.

always interesting to see my oil stocks drop when future prices jump. I've stopped trying to figure it out...I just take advantage of it now.

Are my eyes playing tricks on me, or did oil just DROP 15 bucks again?

DP,

Why not? I'm not much of a casino gambler. But have you ever stood at the craps table? With every roll of the dice there's new bets going down. Sometimes with the roller...sometimes against. I'm starting to develop that same sense with the oil futures market. Everyone's last bet (win or loose) is effecting all the next round of betting, and so on and so on. I think that analogy fits better these days then a thought out poker game with certain fixed protocols.
