Anyone sooooo stupid as to place their money in an account only accessible online in a bank half a world away on a rocky island off the coast of Europe DESERVES to lose it. At least with your corner bank, you can go in and harangue the Teller or possibly the Bank Manager, as long as you are willing to wait a few days outside in the queue for the priviledge of doing so.

The Banks are BANKRUPT. The money is GONE. Live with it.

Our local council had 100 million euros in that bank. This really makes my blood boil, it is tax money for crying out loud.

I made it right for you. :)

Don't worry.
Council will increase your tax rate to address that inconvenience.
