The head of Japan's largest brokerage, Nomura Holdings, has suggested the global liquidity crisis is over.

Everytime one of these morons says the "the crisis is over" or "the worst is behind us", things get even worse. Brace yourselves!

Outcast, thats exactly what I was thinking .... what's broken now ?

Best tell all those people who have been laid off that they can back to work, the crisis is over....

Sadly I think for those people the crisis is only just beginning.

Paul,

an unemployment crisis will effect all. If one in every five loses their jobs, what are they going to do when they're unemployment runs out? Are they going to go homeless and die on the street? Just disappear into the solemn night? I don't think so. The homeless will be abused, harassed, a brutally condemned, some even murdered as a hate for the homeless grows.

Then, as more become homeless. a new civil war will break out.

I have to agree with him. I think of the mentality of pretending things alright is over. He has nothing to gain from making such statements.

And, today, the Nikkei fell another 4.3 percent, and is at its lowest point since 1982. There have been some dividends in there, but zero growth in 26 years.
At 1% annual growth, human bodies will incorporate every gram in the observable universe in approximately 10,170 years.
