There has been a lot of discussion about how much infrustructure is needed to build windmills. So I will give you a link to A wooden wind generator that was built in a day. Image

If nothing else, this would be a great and inexpensive learning tool before you go all out and make a giant wind generator.

Yeah they make me laugh, but only because their solutions are so
amusingly different and unusual. They have lots of useful information
and people can definitely learn a lot following their guides.
