Offshore Western Austalia, Angel platofrm, the Northwest Shelf Venture's third major offshore gas production facility is now producing gas for processing. Angel stands in 80 metres of water and is supplied by three subsea wells. It has a production capacity of 800mfpd of raw gas and up to 50k bpd of condensate. Hydrocarbons from Angel will be processed at the Karratha Gas Plant which includes the Train 5 LNG production facility which is producing LNG for Asian markets including China, Japan, and South Korea.
